Terms of Service and Conditions

MantaBid is operated by Manta Online Services (“MantaBid”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By visiting, registering for, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Service Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract. If you use the Platform for a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

MantaBid operates a B2B marketplace. Buyers may publish RFQs and sellers may submit quotations and offer products or services. MantaBid is not a party to any contract formed between users and does not act as buyer, seller, manufacturer, exporter, importer, broker, carrier, insurer, escrow provider, or payment guarantor.

Each user independently evaluates counterparties and bears all risks arising from negotiations and transactions, including identity, authority, legality, quality, safety, specifications, samples, pricing, payment, delivery, customs, taxes, and regulatory compliance.

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity conducted through your account, including activity by employees, contractors, or authorised representatives. Notify support immediately of suspected unauthorised access. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, shared outside your organisation, or used to impersonate another person or business.

Buyers must:

• submit genuine, lawful, and sufficiently accurate RFQs;
• possess the authority and intention to source the requested goods;
• avoid deceptive budgets, specifications, identities, or deadlines;
• conduct appropriate seller and product due diligence; and
• comply with applicable procurement, sanctions, import, tax, and payment laws.

MantaBid does not routinely verify buyers and may reject, edit, close, or remove any RFQ without creating liability.

Sellers must:

• provide truthful company, ownership, capability, certification, and product information;
• submit quotations they are authorised and reasonably able to honour;
• maintain required licences, registrations, approvals, and export permissions;
• avoid counterfeit, prohibited, unsafe, infringing, or unlawfully sourced goods; and
• remain responsible for quotations and conduct of any authorised representative acting for them.

Where a representative submits a quotation for a seller, both the seller and representative are responsible for its accuracy, authority, and compliance with these Terms.

Certain seller actions require credits or a paid access licence. Credits are a limited, revocable permission to use specified Platform features; they are not money, stored value, or property and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. The number of credits required for a feature may change prospectively.

Credits are consumed when the relevant action is submitted and are not restored merely because an RFQ or transaction is unsuccessful. Unused credits expire one year after issuance. Paid access is sold as monthly or six-month licences and does not automatically renew unless expressly stated at purchase. All purchases are governed by the Refund Policy.

We may request information or documents to assess seller authenticity. Verification is limited to the checks we choose to perform and is not an endorsement, audit, warranty, guarantee of identity, product quality, solvency, legality, or future conduct. We may grant, withhold, suspend, or remove verification status at any time.

“User Content” includes RFQs, quotations, messages, profiles, listings, images, documents, reviews, and other material submitted to the Platform. You represent that you own or control all rights needed to submit your User Content and that it is accurate and lawful.

You retain any underlying rights you lawfully hold in User Content. You grant MantaBid a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, format, publish, display, distribute, moderate, and use User Content to operate, secure, promote, and improve the Platform. This licence continues for content already shared, incorporated into Platform records, or reasonably retained for legal and operational purposes.

MantaBid owns the Platform, its software, branding, design, selection, organisation, marketplace compilation, and content created by or for MantaBid. No Platform right is transferred to you.

You must not:

• commit fraud, scam, misrepresent, impersonate, spam, or harass;
• post fake RFQs, quotations, reviews, documents, or credentials;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, resell, or commercially exploit Platform data without written permission;
• bypass access controls, credit requirements, security, masking, or usage limits;
• introduce malware, probe systems, disrupt service, or access another account;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
• use the Platform for unlawful or sanctioned trade; or
• use Platform data to build, train, or operate a competing directory, marketplace, database, or service without written permission.

We may investigate conduct and edit, limit, reject, remove, or preserve content. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access immediately if we reasonably suspect scamming, fraud, illegality, security risk, non-payment, harm to users or MantaBid, or breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion through support. Termination does not erase accrued obligations, transaction records that must be retained, or provisions intended to survive. Remaining credits and unused access are forfeited upon termination and are not refundable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Users must resolve transaction disputes directly. MantaBid may offer non-binding, informal mediation but has no duty to do so, determine facts, enforce an outcome, or compensate either party. Participation in or reliance on mediation is at each user’s own risk and does not make MantaBid responsible for the dispute.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. MantaBid disclaims all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and any warranty arising from course of dealing.

We do not guarantee any RFQ, user, verification, quotation, order, product, quality, payment, delivery, commercial outcome, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MantaBid and its owners, personnel, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, goods, or anticipated savings; or any user transaction or conduct.

MantaBid’s total aggregate liability arising from the Platform or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid to MantaBid during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MantaBid and its owners, personnel, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, and reasonable legal costs arising from your User Content, Platform use, transaction, goods or services, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another party’s rights.

We may modify the Platform, prices, credit requirements, or these Terms prospectively. Updated Terms will be posted with an effective date, and material changes may be notified by email or through the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. You consent to receive contractual and operational communications electronically.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any mandatory law, the courts of Lahore, Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform.

MantaBid is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of our business or Platform operations. These Terms and the incorporated policies constitute the entire agreement concerning the Platform.
